Suggest a recommendation

All submitted recommendations are added to the roadmap Open list and thereafter reviewed by the Steering Committee and community to assign a subgroup to work on the suggestion. If the suggestion receives votes it is more likely to get a subgroup assigned to it! If you would like to run the subgroup to work on this recommendation please contact info@jats4r.niso.org

General Accessibility

A group to tackle general accessibility issues would be useful to look across JATS and XML samples to look for areas where there could be common guidance for how publishers make their XML accessible and standardised for this

Corrections, Retraction Notes, Expressions of Concern

Correction and retraction notes should be easily linked to the respective publication and include some crucial information, e.g., reference to the corrected/retracted article(s). Authorship roles might also be special etc.
